MY STORY

Disabled Resources
Mission Statement

Disabled resources will provide emergency and long term assistance to the physically disabled. It will provide assistance in the the areas of personal counseling, medicine, law, housing, food, clothing, job training, employment, social awareness and the special needs of the disabled

Initially i am currently seeking volunteer individuals to help form this organization
first i need a board of directors.
The board of directors will consist of primarily disabled individuals themselves where ever possible.
It will consist of a cheif executive officer, a chief secretary and a cheif financial officer.and the following directors.
DIRECTOR OF FUND RAISING,
DIRECTOR OF MEDICINE,
DIRECTOR OF LAW,
DIRECTOR OF PROPERTY AND HOUSING,
DIRECTOR OF COUNSELING AND SPECIAL NEEDS,
DIRECTOR OF JOB TRAINING AND EMPLOYMENT,
DIRECTOR OF TRANSPORTATION,
DIRECTOR OF OUTREACH, EMERGENCY SERVICES AND CLIENT INTAKE,

I hope to physically create this organization by making a central administration office in conjunction with a medical clinic/intake area, legal office area, an emergency housing area, kitchen and laundry area. For long term care I plan individual placement of clients with care givers and in group homes. I plan to coordinate with public education services for some of the employment training services until we can provide a campus of our own. For some of our fund raising needs I would like to open a second hand store recycling usable items. First I need a lawyer or lawyers versed in non profit formation and disabled rights. I will be needing an accountant, cpa. I will be looking for fund-raisers. I will be looking for management personnel and office workers. I will also be looking for medical professionals, physicians, nurses, therapists, care givers, councillors, educators, etc..
I need donations of money, office space and real estate, office equipment( computers and peripherals/printers etc., software, copy machines, furniture etc..
